Dr. Pavel Yanovich is a qualified gastroenterologist and internist with many years of clinical experience in Latvia and abroad. He received his medical education at Riga Stradiņš University, completing the full training pathway from general medicine to specialization in gastroenterology. He further advanced his qualifications at the renowned Italian Policlinico Gemelli (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome), where he participated in a clinical internship program.
Dr. Yanovich is actively involved in scientific research, particularly in the field of early diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases. He is a co-author of publications on the use of pepsinogen testing for the detection of precancerous changes in the gastric mucosa and on the effectiveness of Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy. His work has been presented at international conferences and published in specialized medical journals.

In 2013, while still in residency training in internal medicine, Dr. Yanovich became a recipient of the National Scholar Award at United European Gastroenterology Week (UEG Week) in Berlin. This award is presented to young specialists under the age of 35 for outstanding achievements in specific areas of gastroenterology. This recognition marked an important milestone in his professional development.
