Andris Norko
Andris Norko graduated from RMI in 1984 and later completed his internship in 1985. He further enhanced his qualifications with courses in oncological radiology in Leningrad in 1988 and interned in Sweden, Örebro in 1993. Andris has attended various international conferences and European congresses in radiology, as well as participated in the Baltic Urologists Congress in 2007 and in Tampere (Finland) on the possibilities of prostate cancer (TRUS) examinations. In 2013, Andris obtained an additional certificate in abdominal (MRI) examinations abroad (Palermo, Italy).
Most of his professional experience has been gained at Gaiļezers Hospital, where he has worked for 38 years and trained residents since 2000. As an honorary member of the Latvian Radiologists Association, Andris is an outstanding, experienced specialist.
At the Grand Medical Medical Center, Andris Norko performs ultrasound (USG) and TRUSP examinations, as well as describes and analyzes the examinations.
