Ultrasound examinations can also be done on pregnant women, as it does not affect the patient’s health in any way. With the help of ultrasound, visual images of internal organs can be obtained, aiding in diagnosis and determining the causes of illnesses. The advantage of ultrasound examinations is the safety of the procedure. Since this examination is entirely painless, it is well suited for patients who are afraid of doctors, as nothing painful or unpleasant happens during the ultrasound examination.
